When it comes to perfume, Chanel No. 5 is definitely a hors concours. In Coco Chanel’s words “a woman’s perfume with a woman’s scent”.
Created by Ernest Beaux in 1921, this perfume meant a huge innovation both in production technique, packaging and marketing. It is a mysterious and impossible to decipher perfume that still now, lives in the female imaginarium AND in the shopping list of man and woman all over the globe.
