3Doodler: The World’s First 3D Printing Pen

Through the Kickstarter site, the first 3D printing pen has entered the market. 3Doodler allows you to lift your imagination of the page! A pen made for artists, artisans, architects, art lovers and creators.

This is how it works: as you draw in the air, a plastic comes out from the pen and an integrated fan cools it off inmediately creating a solid form that keeps the shape which you are creating. You can draw on any surface, and you can make it any color, shape or size.

The pen: The 3Doodler pen is 180mm by 24mm. The pen weighs less than 200 grams or 7 ounces (the weight of a typical apple), although the exact weight will depend on the final shell specifications once in production. And we are using a universal power supply, so provided you have the correct adapter for your country, 3Doodler will work just fine on 110v or 240v.

The pen will be in stores in November 2013, price is yet TBA.

What would you create if you had the 3Dooler pen?
